I have heard a shitload of guitar solos, but everytime I hear that one I get a big grin on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. That's a damn fine guitar solo.

The only solo Tim song on the Luther College album was "Stream" everything else is just him comping with Dave, though Tim's solo on Typical Situation I think is one of the better guitar solos ever. To answer your question, I wouldn't concern myself with picking a song that's easy. Pick one you reall...

Judging by how most of you have replied here, I am only to asuume that most of you have never really listened to Tim Reynolds outside the context of Dave Matthews whatsoever. I have seen Live at El Mocambo, Both SRV Montreaux Jazz appearances, and his Austin Texas DVD...as well as hearing the majori...

There most certainly is an answer to this question from a technical standpoint. Look at the artists' body of work, for instance, if you sat Tim down with Scuttle Buttin' by SRV, he'd get it. It's technically difficult, but Tim has the ear and the speed to pick it up. While if you put SRV in a room w...

I don't care if you don't like me, but if you want me to tab something out, let me know, scumwater.

By the way, an official tab book would be a little bit better than the shit you find on the internet most of the time, BIG SPLEEN.

You definitely see Aug and Dim chords in music other than jazz. That's a pretty serious pigeonhole. And that 4th chord in Crazy/Captain is an A. And the version D&T do on the 2-2-97 DVD is F-ing sweet.

This kind of thread pisses me off, it just shows how lazy people are. If you actually LISTENED for 5 seconds you'd realize the answer to your own question. People just look at tab (which is garbage 98% of the time)and don't take the time to think about it, or just try it out. Anyway, PISS OFF. AHAHA
