Re: Tim's Revers Delay Settings
Ya, I've gotten the same effect with volume swell delay on the DL4, but I somehow did it with the reverse delay and it sounded really cool and a bit different. I had to trick it with a combination of hitting the tap tempo really fast and changing a few setting at the same time, can't get it back....

Tim's Revers Delay Settings
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_qAE-iNjf4 On a lot of songs like "Betrayal" from Radio City Music Hall, Tim uses that DD-5 reverse delay setting. It sounds really cool and I love it a lot. I had a setting just like it saved on my Line 6 DL-4 pedal, but it got erased and I cannot get it back for the...

Re: Cheap Version of Veillette (raised d) guitar?
That Gryphon is very unique, there is nothing else out there that is in raised D. The closest you will get is the Tacoma Papoose 12 string that is raised to A. http://www.elderly.com/new_instruments/items/PAP12E.htm I've played 4 Veillette's and they were all great. I've played 2 Papoose 12 strings ...

I didn't go to a recording school or anything, one of the professors at the college owns a studio there in town, I found out about it because he sta...

Re: Interesting
I was really excited to download this on itunes today and was COMPLETELY disappointed... As a recording engineer, the first thing that struck me was how shitty the mix was. It was utter shit, really muddy and the guitars sounded like crap. Horrible mix, and the electric guitar was nothing but annoyi...

Re: Help me buy a guitar
Go for the Martin 16 series, especially since you can't play one first. The stock Martin D-28's and D-35's are some of the most inconsistent guitars I have come across, the 16's however have all sounded great to me and seem to be consistent. I think they sound a lot better than most 28's and 35's, a...

Re: **Big Whiskey and The Groogrux King** - Out Now
Kind of random, but I got the deluxe version with the prints for each song and framed them today. Hobby Lobby is having a huge sale on all their frames, 50% off. So if you are thinking about framing anything, go to Hobby Lobby.

Re: **Big Whiskey and The Groogrux King** - Out Now
The thing that aggravates the crap out of me on the studio Why I Am is that you can't hear Timmy's part around the "It's why I Am" part. That drove the song for me and was sweet when I heard it live for the first time. Something just sounds like it's missing on the record. Now in terms of the Fallon...
