where did you get it from? Or your family if it was a christmas present? Thinking about picking one of these up. Also is there any noise/hum that the amp makes, I played a behringer acoustic amp in guitar center and it sounded good until I turned it up past like 5 and then all i heard was hum. Also ...

The Stone Strumming Pattern?

Is the intro to the stone all downstrokes (with the exception of the double note)? I've tried it with both downstrokes and alternate picking, and both sound ok, but when watching dave it looks like it's all downstrokes.....and if it is all downstrokes, for the second part of the verse after the F ty...

thanks a lot man, that really builds my confidence :D I was thinking of recording "not myself" next, or maybe jack johnson's taylor, i think my voice may be better suited for jacks songs. Do you know of any books or anything that might help my singing?

My #40 cover

Here is the first song i've ever recorded. I know my singing is off key, but other than that what do you guys think?

I have an AST/A1 in my Taylor Big Baby, but when i record to my computer with just the pickup straight into the soundcard, the volume is extremely low....does anyone else have this problem? Do I just need to invest in the L.R. Baggs Acoustic DI in order raise the volume to a listenable level?....or ...

It's a great guitar. Lots of volume and more bass than the big baby. Love the look and feel of it. Guitar Center had it listed for about 550 or somewhere around there.

So would you suggest saving up more money for this guitar, or buying a LR Baggs Para DI and a Digitech RPx400 to go along with my Taylor Big Baby with B-Band Ast/A1?

I've thought about this a long time and still can't make up my mind. Someone please do it for me!

So the D-16RGT is really that good huh? I'm highly considering getting this guitar. I played the electric/cutaway version at guitar center a while back, but it had extremely old crusty strings on it, so I didn't get a feel of the true sound. But I would get just the standard dred.

I should also probably say that I'm using the tab from the "dmb easy guitar" book. It slides right from the barre to the 6th, it doesn't barre and then go the the 4/6. So I'm really playing

I have no problem using my middle finger for the slide, it's just that I can't ever get barre to sound right with my pinky? I think that's what it says to use, I dunno maybe I'm wrong.
