looking to buy a used copy - ive been told im in it quite a lot as i was standing front row at the london gigs

last month i placed a bet of £10 (plus a £20 "free bet") that DMB would win best album at the grammys - it was at 12/1 odds - (they are now at 8/1)

so if DMB get the best album grammy - ill be £360 up!

but they wont win is the only problem

just listened the whole way through - the most enjoyable album ive heard since fleet foxes last year - i am very happy with it and think the negativity so often shown on here is more a problem with the overly obsessive (and thus critical) nature of some members rather than the quality of the music- ...

tims guitat solo in dive in is so simple but so smooth - he really is a class act

he came onto boyd once - it got too weird

having never played tap tap or guitar hero or anything else like that -

playing the new dmb tap tap game .......belw my mind -its so fun and the production values are perfect. It also make me think i'm gonna buy guitar hero.

So so. when time bomb picks up it sounds , firstly like a 1980's quiz show jingle and then like a rock/punk band from myspaces (with 3,4020 fans) best song. good enough but still a little shitty. monkey and this are too heavy on the sax/horns etc. Less electric, less trumpet......and (thought i neve...

for the producer to say the last few albums didnt capture their writeing skill and musicianship is pretty ballzy - ......... or is it sycophantic to wineing fans like us -

is not the lyric not "dash the hopes of those who hate" ??? makes more sense IMO

after funny the way it is - dave should be banned form useing that am/g/f progression for at least 5 years -
ie)watchtower/gravedigger/give it away/FTWII

the bulk of UTTAD and Crash was well road tested - so they could then lay down perfect takes (often with an interesting spin/sound - rhyme and reason/warehouse come to mind) they just need to lay down the rest of the lillywhites and things like deed is done/ help myself / plus these new road tested ...

why i am sounds far better accoustic - i love tim but when he plays live full band its almost like dave souldnt have a guitar was we often dont get to hear him.
