That's amazing. How long did it take you to figure that out? Thanks, it probably took a couple hours. I just sat down and listened about 300 times, and I also used the "slow" feature in Windows Media Player to help figure out some of it. So, if I used a stereo delay on my guitar to my mixer and then to my mic input, I would get the "panning effect" on the recording?

edit: I'll have to try it sometime, school is over in a couple weeks and I'll get everything set up at home again

Is there a way to record in stereo, like from the outputs of a mixer. I have an rca to stereo 1/8" adapter but it still records in mono.

I got a new one and it works perfectly, even the mixer setup. The only problem now is all the noise from my mixer which I guess I can live with

actually it turns out that I think I got a defective unit. I can't get ANY effects out of it no matter how I connect it. I tried direct to my amp, through my mixer, computer, headphones, pretty much everything I could think of - different cables, different guitar. The lights work, and when I put it ...

If I remember correctly, he runs it through one of the main outs of the mixer but I guess they would be line level too.

edit: I checked the picture on that link and it does look like that is what he does

just a little behringer ub802, but you were right- I want to be able to use the delay on more than one channel.
