I actually checked Tim's pedals in one of his small shows in LA, and he uses a DD7 now. For the "violin effect" we usually sets Level: 11 Feedback: 1 Delay time: Max Mode: 800ms He uses the reverse mode also (for instance in the The Maker solo of Radio City).
