Using four fingers is more efficient as far as energy use. When you have to play a whole concert, you eventually find ways to be more energy efficient, which is exactly what dave is the master at.

Hell yeah man, Jimi Hendrix. By the way, are you actually listening to yourself when you play? There's no possible way in hell that is on beat at all. So just stop trying to convince people that you played it well.

yeah man, that's what i was saying. It's so erratic. Try tapping your foot maybe or something. I can't even play that off-beat if I tried to I think. It would be harder to play off-beat.

lol, alright man. It just sounded to me like a little kid was playing it, give it some emphasis. Be more aggressive and shit, it sounded like you were trying to play it bad for some reason. And pay attention to what you're doing in the song, the details.

Damn, I'm sorry. Alright, just loosen up when you play man. Take down a few 40's or something before you play, i just meant you need to relax and loosen up. And yes, i'm an asshole, so i instantly make fun of someone. sorry, i need to go drink some 40's.

Shut up, seriously. It's not hard to play if you have practiced it for 20 minutes. And for the kid who said "hahehe i guess thats just how my brain works, heha uh ha" Shut the hell up.

lol, man, does anyone have any rhythm in these posts? Your version of #41 is ridiculously bad man. I can just picture you playing this, it would look so funny. I don't understand how people can't play these songs good at all. You shouldn't have to think about playing them well, but pay attention to ...

Holy crap, that's probably the worst thing i've ever heard. Who the hell is playing the intro/jam section? I've only been playing for like 9 months and i could fucking rip this song apart. You have no rhythm at all, pay attention to what the hell you're doing. You said you "owned" at the jam section...

Yeah definately man, Trey Anastasio is one of my idols. He's definately one of the most talented improv guitar players out there. If you learn more about Phish and Trey, you should read Trey's description of some of his best moments in concert throughout the years. The descriptions of his most memor...

By far probably the best improv. acoustic guitar player I've heard is monte montgomery. Don't be fooled by this man, he's the real deal. I thought he played like country or something until i listened to his live stuff. He is completely nuts live. If you can, download his cover version of "Sultans of...

yeah man, I was just asking a simple question. Just some technical stuff. I wasn't asking a retarded ass question, I didn't know what this little jam was called, or even if it had a name. But now i know, thats why questions are asked.

SMTS => Too Much

Yo, I was just wondering if anyone has tabbed out or will tab out the part on DMB live in Central Park after so much to say and the beginning of Too much where dave does the fast strumming and a lot of muting. ANd yeah someone will probably say to just do a lot of muting, but he throws in some varia...

yeah, sweet deal man. I wish Seagull's fretboards werent so damn wide, they should fix that. Then for sure they'd be the best deal around.
