Re: Funny the Way It Is

Yeah the Bm seems to work if you play the power chord, just don't add the extra note and play a full Bm or it sounds wrong.

Re: Funny the Way It Is

I'm hearing Am G G F for the verse, C G G F, for the chorus. What do you guys use to write out the tabs?

Re:

[quote="SRVDMB"] I have the supposedly approve Dave Matthews book from Guitar center, it is close to the Tabs that are posted here. The notes for Crash into Me show, base note then down up down up, base note then down down up, repeat with moving the base note. However this does not sound like the a...

Re: Just something I have Noticed

The Taylors have a thinner sound, especially with their electronics. So its easier to electronically process that sound through the board to get a powerful thin sound that can cut through the mix of the band and actually get heard. Re: Making WWYS sound right

That tab has the right notes, but it leaves out all the little mutes in between the notes that you have to hit to make it sound right. [quote="Coldchillin"]Tap your foot to "Sat-ellite" the words, 1, 2, 3. Then if you listen to the guitar riff, where it ends, it ends on one. Tap your foot. The last note hits on 1 and then TWO beats of rest, then back into it. Does someone have a sheet music book? EDIT: I really don't care anymore ...

I've heard some old dave recordings where it sounds like he's tuned down half a step, or tuned up a bit. I always attributed that to bad taping conversions back in the day of analog. (especially when the sound tonal quality seems off)
