Re: Baritone Guitar
The electric baritone market seems to have dried up alot in the last few years, but I know that Gibson/Epiphone had baritone Les Pauls out there a few years ago. I have no idea what one would cost used. I came across one Epi Les Paul Baritone on Ebay for $800...much more than you wanted to spend. Th...

Re: Which Martin Acoustic-Electric Guitar Should I buy
I have both a Martin D16-RGT and a DCX1E. I love my RGT, but the DCX1E sounds just about as good and plays just as well.

You are in luck. The best live trax hasn't been released yet. Go pre-order LT 13!

Yeah, the $1200 is for the entire weekend and all days of workshops with Tim. Meals and accommodations are included. I actually just got my invoice via email today confirming my spot at Tim's workshop. Time to start getting excited...and practicing...

Re: Help with PA shopping
I have heard some bad things about Behringer, but I haven't had any personal experience. I've had a little 4 channel mixer that I sometimes use for recording for about 8 years and that has never had any issues. I also have a Behringer rackmount compressor that has never failed me. I have never tried...

Re: Tim Reynolds Guitar Workshop
am i the only one who thinks this is overpriced and totally not worth it? Honestly, I think it is a tad overpriced but I mean the Ranch in general. Tim's is no more expensive than Warren Haynes' or G.E. Smith's workshops. Though, for someone who is as big a TR fan as I am, it is worth every penny! ...

Tim Reynolds Guitar Workshop
Originally posted by Fluffy at the TR boards, and I've seen it crop up in a few DMB related places. Myself and a few others have already signed up and I think this is a great opportunity to be taught/jam with one of the greats. Thought someone here may want to check this out: Here it is, your chance...

Re: Help with PA shopping
It does look like a great deal and sounds like they are practically new. If you could snag those for that price and there's nothing wrong with them that is pretty good. My only warning with speakers that big are to make sure your vehicle is spacious enough to fit them and that you're willing to lug ...

Re: Help with PA shopping
To kind of answer both questions with one answer: JBLs sound very nice. My friend just bought a pair for his PA to replace 2 Kustom speakers that crapped out. We also used to use smaller Kustom speakers at band practice that had this god awful buzzing that would come out of them. We re-soldered all ...

Re: Best headphones
I've never been dissatisfied with Bose, but they are very overrated and overpriced.
After a long, extensive search for some headphones for work, I ended up buying some $10 Phillips buds at Target that sound awesome. I also have some JVC memory foam ones that are great for blocking out other noise.

Re: So I just unintentionally bought a baritone guitar
I have a baritone acoustic and I have written a few tunes on. It opens up the possibilities that is for sure. It's also great for exploring different parts of your vocal range. Kind of like putting a capo on a standard guitar, except lower.
