It is good to leave the guitar in the case for a while to let it cool down slowly. Same thing for when you bring a guitar inside, let it sit in it's case for a while before opening it so the temperature and humidity change is less dramatic. This isn't a total solution but it does help prevent possib...

I know all about martins........ But they started making D-35's in the mid 60's. Switched to indian rosewood from brazilian in 1970 as with all martins, and started using large bridgplates in the 70's. Went back to small bridgeplates in early 80's. The bracing has never changed on a d-35, and really...

Thanks for the heads up. It was pretty cool, but nothing really revolutionary out of Justin. I think he's done better. It reminds me of the song that they used for the techno remix on his old site. I actually saw him play that song when he played live down in Oregon, (the show Sheena and I went to)...

Re: CLAPTON IS GOD
CLAPTON IS GOD Yes I just call him "The Boss" ...because he owns everyone. Many more guitarists can put more notes in a beat than he can, but that is not what counts. There is something about his guitar lead that is........something.........awsome, which is why he is the greatest guitar player of a...

it sounds like something justin king would play..........you ought to try to make that into a full length song it's pretty good......the only thing I can think of is that the recording itself seemed a bit bland or something. I'm not sure how you recorded it or what your equipment is, but it almost d...

i read on the boards a long time ago that any martin with an x in its name means crap. not true....plain and simple I have a 000x1 that gets played more than my '89 m-36 and just about as much as my 000-28EC. It is the best player, and sounds great, but just obviously not quite as good as the other...
