i argue with a friend of mine all the time about how good he is, but all he talks about is drummers for bands like slayer and says carter is nowhere near as good. i think its hard to compare difft. types of music, esp. because im not really into stuff that heavy. but i definately think carter is one...

took lessons for a little while then my teacher moved away...but it was pretty chill bc it was just like jamming with my teacher. i wouldnt mind learning how to read all the music again though bc i forgot

i always manage to find stuff to bang my guitar on anyway, i probably do more damage than ppl who dont know how to play it...but i hate when people think its funny to act like they know what they're doing and make horrible noises with it

creativity is probably the most important quality to a good guitarist. It's one thing to be able to play a hendrix song, and another to write.
