[quote="mattinbeloit"]I would say Tripping Billies and The Stone, especially to sing alone to while playing. All opinion. I found TB fairly easy to play and sing, and The Stone, you just have to practice the main riff enough times that you can do it without thinking. I have trouble playing and sing...

blah
um i guess i'll indulge in some fanboy discussion...
the timbre or sound quality of dave's voice primarily comes from two places 1) smoking (he smoked/smokes) heavily this gives you the "rough" sound. 2) nasal singing... again related to smoking, but yeah he sings through his nose.

hmm
I dunno about a list, but I know there is a chord generator somewhere out there. It allows you to place "fingers" on a fret board, and it tells you what chord that is. Plus it shows you alot of the common chords, a7 etc. If only I could find it for you. Oh well.

trolls lurk in this forum
It's because of people like NJPearce22, who apparently exist only to pop up with "ummmm search", and douches who pop up and are like "tripping billies verse took me like -5 minutes to learn"... that this forum can really suck. There are helpful individuals, but come on, why jump down the guy's throa...

Kudos dudes. I think it's one thing to really like a band and play there stuff... but there are limits. I think some people who frequent these boards have passed those limits, and I'm glad to see some people are putting their own spin on the music. I think that's the way it should be. It's good musi...

Dude, i dunno, i would have to disagree. I think its a fairly basic song that isn't too hard to master. And certainly more experienced players can nail it.
