So I'm starting to record stuff, and I've got an M-Audio Mobile Pre USB, which has 2 mic channels. When I record into audacity, it outputs each channel to a specific speaker. I CANNOT WAIT to own a house so I can play as loud as long, and whenever I want.

That being said, I told my neighbors to come by and tell me to knock it off if they need concentration. And I don't play late at night unless its with my electric and headphones.

Yeah, I figured it might have something to do with that. So when you're playing do you bring your pick in when you're going to do a squealy, and then shift it back out when you're going back to strumming? Like when I'm strumming I find more pick exposing gives me more flexibility with strumming and ...

If you want the best pedal in the world- get a Boss RC-20XL Loop Station. My playing has gotten worlds better because I can create my own jam tracks and solo over them for hours. Its also great if you don't have anyone at your level to jam with. Case in point: I have no guitar friends that can play ...

You can get the same effect by turning your gain up a bit and using the volume knob on your guitar in conjunction with picking a string. Its tricky but I got it to sound almost exactly like it last night.
