When I practice to improve I often end up playing my electric unplugged. If I plug it in, I'll play clean with no reverb.

It's the same premise of putting reverb on a vocalist. It really helps cover up any mistakes.

I've heard of them and heard they're fantastic, but never played one.

If you have a Blues Driver, you should get this mod.

How did that Blues Driver mod work out for you? I love it. I noticed immediately the improvement of tone. The original is the only Boss distortion pedal I like, but the mod from Keeley makes the stock one sound like garbage. I don't really use the phat switch but the upgrade makes the pedal incredi...

This is my pedalboard at the moment.. Only difference is the footswitch on the bottom right is different because I have a different amp.

I like my Vox wah. I'd say two of the most important pedals to start out with are a tuner and delay. Boss tuner is a standard, but I might switch mine out for a Korg Pitchblack. You can pick up a Boss DD-3 or a DD5-DD7 for relatively cheap too.
