Ahh good song at a great show. I happen to have a video of the entire night. I will take a look later to see if there is a good shot of the screens during this part. I do remember that during the show there was a closeup of Dave's hands while playing this part. I will see what I can do.

I'll have to admit that at first I was appalled by the studio version of this song, but it has really grown on me. I'm finding myself singing it in my head in class. I guess it just took some time. The video is still a bit out there.

It's funny the way the song is marketed - right now it's on the front page of itunes, it was one of the first videos to be released from L@RC. It just doesn't seem like typical single material. I would have thought something like Idea Of You or Sister would have been the more obvious choices for a ...

SPAC really is one of their top venues, and the band says one of their favorite places to play. Everyone should check it out if they can. I think the one night thing has to do with SPAC itself being pretty booked this summer. Maybe things will change.

For some reason the way Howie Day covers this song is easier for me. You can probably find the file on any P2P program, and the tab is on his website. Give that a try.

Work on hitting those bass notes too, the other stuff in between will fall into place eventually. Also, you might want to try palm muting until you get the timing.

When is DMB going to get off this Hunger for the Great Light thing? I would probably like the song if they played it a little more sparingly.
