Re: Leroi Moore Has Passed Away

I saw this news and thought of the boards. Sad, sad news on the DMB front. RIP Mr.Moore.

Can someone post a version of Can't Stop for me please? I've never heard it, and wanna hear how big of a loaf it is.

Side note, I don't listen to much DMB anymore, but I think Break Free is pretty good. None of the other songs do anything for me.

I love playing in open D. I would suggest just get used to tuning back and forth from standard to open D. After a while it takes no time at all, I can do it in less than a minute.

I don't wanna rag on you for being lazy, but this was the first result that popped up on Google when I searched "Modest Mouse tabs."

I learned the song from this one, and it's pretty accurate I think.

Led Zepplin Page=one of the top 5 guitarists of all time and maybe more versatile than Hendrix or Clapton when you throw in accoustic and fingerpicking styles Bonham=one of the top 5 drummers of all time [b]Plant =had one of the widest vocal ranges of any major band and could hit a lot of high note...

Ohhhh..... I get it. It just sounded like a big clusterfuck of noise to me, I wasn't a big fan.

Nice man, my band did the same thing a while back, and we had a blast too. I'm listening to And She Said right now. The chorus is really beautiful, when she hits that high falsetto note it's great. The tandem guitar-violin melody lines are quite nice as well. Sounds awesome man, keep on keepin' on.

Hey man, I loves me some post-punk, so I'll give a listen. Stop throwing furniture: Not a huge fan of the british accent. Unless you're actually British I think it's a little cheesy. But it's a good song, I liked the whole thing, maybe a little less screaming during the middle would be good though. ...

This is great Namesake. I don't really have much to crit at all. I suck at counting time sigs, but is it 3 bars or 3/4, then 1 of 2/4? I really like the timing anyways. And I gotta say, I wasn't a huge fan of the lyrics, but you sang them terrificly, and had a beautifully haunting melody line going ...
