If the house has a PA you should only need at minimum a Direct Input Box, cables and your instrument. Assuming the house PA has a board you can plug your PC into the board with I think rca cables. And an acoustic guitar, no matter how sweet it sounds out of the case is irrelevant.

Good electronics, pickups, preamps etc. make the tone in a live setting and not the guitar itself unless you are using a blend system/mic which Dave does not use.

The levels are on point in any professionally mixed and mastered live release the band has put out.

Robert Randolph is the man, but what he does on the pedal steel buitar is nothing original nor groundbreaking. In fact that particular instrument, in my opinion has a limited pallette.
