I don't know if anyone has tried Boyd's solo (or even cares) but I *think* this is pretty close except for the end where he walks down the scale. I haven't figured that out yet. ---12-10----10 ---------13----13-10-13-10 -------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------...

Re: Leroi Moore Has Passed Away
Just listened to the Central Park Concert again. Leroi's horns just blow me away time after time.
Especially on Grey Street when he's just playing his ass off and it just fits in so well with everyone else.
I'm really gonna miss him

$1200 to be in a class with Tim is a bargain IMO.

Re: Rob Cavallo to produce next studio album
I like this choice. American Idiot was really well done. And believe, me, after seeing the Goo Goo Dolls live, Cavallo deserves a Grammy for making them sound as good as they do on a record. Reznick is decent I guess. Huzzah for Timmy back in teh fold. If Cavallo is playing piano I guess no Butch in...

Re: YNK Capo Version
Save your money, buy a $99 acoustic and string raised-B. It's worth it. Capoing sucks in comparison.

Re: Dealing With Dave Matthews Haters
people do have a right to hate the music you listen to. just like you have a right to hate the music they listen That's the thing though, these guys are like classically trained musicians for the most part. It's not like they're a bunch of donkeys making noise in their parents garage and got lucky....

Re: Raise B
I've had a guitar in Raised B with extra lights for over two months and it's fine. It's not a $1900 Taylor 914 but it's holding up okay.
Don't use Mediums or Lights unless you plan on releasing the tension after each time you're done playing.
And Raised B rocks. Hundreds of times better than a Capo.

Re: Dealing With Dave Matthews Haters
When I get shit from people I just simply say that I've been listening to Dave's music every day for the last five years (and off and on before that) and I've never gotten tired of it. I've never said, "Man, I'm getting tired of DMB. Let me put on something else." DMB sends everyone else home in a b...
