I have mixed feelings about this album. When I put it on I tend to listen to it straight through and really like it but then I won't listen to it again for several days. I just don't feel compelled to listen to it like I do with the other albums.

I think this album is pretty solid and I'm hoping it's a stepping stone to get back to form. It seems like they are honestly having fun again playing together. I really found that Fuse doc interesting too. The old footage is priceless.

The intro is contained in SMLAM that's why the tracklist is off. the other two extra files are different takes of the Grux+SMLAM and FTWII

there is a post on demonoid that has the whole album now. The description says that these are the "unfinished" tracks but some of the comments say it sounds like good quality.

Anybody care to tab out the finger picking on this cover. I think this is a really well done. Here's a link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgnFKNvmV7o

Re: Can Someone Tab __________?

Any one feel like taking a stab at the solo at the end of "Shadowlands" by Ryan Adams. I know the song is in Gb and the guitar is possibly tuned down half a step but I can't seem to pick up on some of the licks in there. Any help would be much appreciated. I really love this song.

Re: Can Someone Tab __________?

Cam someone tab out "Winter Birds" from the new Ray Lamontagne cd. It sounds a little like he is using the picking and melody that Lennon used on Dear Prudence or at least that is what my ear tells me. I just can't pick it up for some reason. Any takers?

Re: Mayer's In Your Atmosphere

I actually found both parts. The little run is on the tab under the heading "Intro part b)" and as for the outro in the end it is these four chords: ---x-----x-------x---------0------ ---4-----4-------4---------5------ ---5-----5-------5---------5------ ---2-----2------ 2---------0------ ---0---- 0-...

Mayer's In Your Atmosphere

I've been using the tab here http://www3.sympatico.ca/g403z/iya.txt but there are a few parts from his new Live in LA cd that are not on here mainly the little run right after the first verse and the ending of the song. Ive been trying to pick the shapes up of some you tube vidoes of people playing ...

The ones I have seen on ultimate-guitar.com seem to be pretty good for some of the new album tracks.

Re: Can Someone Tab __________?

Colin Hay's acoustic version of "Looking for Jack?" This is how I play it. Verse: (x577xx), (x477xx), (xx423x), (xx645x) and then repeat. Transition: " ...He's the one" that's is just open E and then open A Chorus: (x5423(2)), (x02220), (x7645(4)), (x5423(2)) Note: The (2) on the high e string is o...

I have a brass one and I like it but I think glass is the way to go. The brass is really bright sounding whereas glass it a little bit warmer. I've been wanting to pick up a glass slide for awhile now but never seem to get around to it. Slide is a lot of fun once you start to develop your touch and ...
