If I had a boat , when to play what?

Ive been trying to figure out how to play what in this song for awhile now and it just seems to not be clicking for me. I have a vid from 1-27-99 but its a fairly bright vid and hard to see. Does anyone have any advise or better videos for this song?

Not anymore than rosewood, maple, koa or a dozen other tonewoods. The tone of a specific wood is all up to the guitarist taste, I myself tend to lean towards the warmer tones of rosewoods and mahoganys rather than the brighter tones of maple and others. I think Paduak the wood used in the center piece...

I know this has been discussed, I tried a search but it didn't pull up the tab I was looking, for, I know the first part of the song but need a tab to get the rest. If anyone can send me a link for the tab i give you much thanks.

[quote="Jeremy_9"]I would play the chet first, I was not very impressed with them, the action was a little high for my taste, and the tone was too bright and shrill. Also you might want to know Dave's chet has had its electronics completely stripped out of it, his chet is custom modified. So if you...

I'm not a fan of cutaways, but I played a taylor 02 710 ce, with an engelmann spruce top. Very responsive guitar and with plenty of overtones and projection. My personal favorite guitar is the Martin HD28v,its just the definitive acoustic guitar in my opinion, especially for small rooms and acoustic...

I think he means the bridge or the bm part, to me the tab is pretty dead on, he just does a double hammer on during that part, ala the stone. If you play around with it, you can get to sound pretty much the same. But anyway, thanks for the tab Pat.

I feel your pain this song is a bastard, I just can't figure out or hear, how the tab plays, it. I lot of the measures make sense, but like you alot of it loses me.

Robert Fripp is the lead guitarist in King Crimson, he is a very inventive guitar player. I would give King Crimson a listen especially their last album. As for the other guy, I don't recall that name.
