Amp
It's not the chord, my Les Paul has the stock pickups which are passive, and I tried unplugged everything from the effects loop. I did however narrow it down to maybe being a problem with the wiring in my guitar though and not the amp. When the volume starts to cut out, if I hit the strings harder t...

Problem with Marshall Amp
Thought I would run this by someone to see if anyone had any ideas... I was playing through my Marshall MG100DFX today, and all of the sudden the volume cut to about half, and when I tried turning it up, I got hardly any of its full volume. I've never had a problem with it before, but this time I ha...

Re: Holding a Pick
OK...now it's a little late for me to be relizing this...but I dont think I'm holding the pick in the proper manner...I usually kinda hold it with my index and middle finger on one side and my thumb on the other, as opposed to holding it between my thumb and the side of my index finger...Do I need ...

Just Do It
For me, this was one of those songs that I could never play, then one day it just clicked. Just keep playing along with Dave, and eventually the planets will align and you'll do it right. Make sure you just have fun, and over time, the technique will fall into place. If you are constanly worrying ab...

Thicker Sound
I've got a Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus and a Marshall DFX100 Amp and I'm trying to fatten the sound I get from my Les Paul without having to play at deafening volumes. I'm want to get more of a thick blues tone a la Warren Haynes, but I can't seem to do it at reasonable levels. If I crank up the gai...

Underrated [From the perspective of hardcore fans]: Pretty much all of Everyday, its really good in the adultrock genre compared to other bands, but we still hate it... why? I think I can sum up my overrated/underrated with the Everyday Album. The song "Everyday" is extremely overrated, but there a...

A scatterbrained critique: I like the mellow feel of the song. The vocals are too quiet. The instruments and effects sound great, but I'd prefer if the mix was more centered. It really reminds me of Pay For What You Get. The lyrics seem a bit cliche to me, but that may be due to the low vocal volum...

Headache
I didn't know what you meant by Headache version, but know I do... My head was throbbing already when I started to listen to it, and the mixture of the visualization on Windows Media Player, and the utterly obnoxious sound literally made me vomit. So, in recap, good job in creating a response evokin...
