Re: Why would DMB break-up?
Not to ruffle any feathers, but roi was...easily replaceable. Talented, sure. But not beyond the realm of replaceable. They'll keep playing if they want to. Yeah, I loved roi, he was amazingly talented, and nothing will be the same without him... However like green said, not irreplaceable. Carter m...

Re: Live Trax 13: Busch Staduim 6.7.08
well... the second shirt looks ok, the first is obviously photoshopped though. And as for the album cover, #1, its nothin too impressive, 15 minutes in PS, #2 it breaks from the live trax cover used in the last 12. Actually, it's the exact same cover style as Volumes 10 & 11...

Re: hooking up acoustic to computer/live equipment
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Kustom-PA-Profile-One-PA-System-with-Roller-Bag?sku=630508 might I recomend that. Its pretty compact, and simple, but puts out great sound, like a much more expensive system. I know that kinda takes up the budget, but theres always torrent and limewire for soft...

Re: hooking up acoustic to computer/live equipment
Yeah LR Bags does some great pickups; if I ever had to go aftermarket thatd be the way to go. What kind of computer do you have? Someone may have already touched on it, but apples garage band is pretty impressive for home recording. I dont know if theres a windows version though. I've used a number ...

filmdude, havent you not posted for like...multiple years? yes
I wasn't suggesting that they become a psychedelic band, by any means. But a bit of a psychedelic influenced sound incorporated into their style would be welcomed by me. I always liked the spacey effects Tim throws...

Re: Butch leaves the band
I honestly wouldn't mind a bit if the band decided to incorporated a psychedelic sound to their stuff. No :|
I disagree. I think that could be a great path for them to evolve down. It might be really neat, and at very least something fresh and new for them. And anything is...

Re: Buying a Banjp
No, I actually meant the MB-100. I seriously dont have much money to spend on this. So $150 is about my limit. I'll be doing fingerpicking, but I'm just starting. Are there any other companies i should look into for the $150-$200 price range to get a decent starter banjo?

Buying a Banjp
So I think I'm gonna spend my last little bit of money before I head to college on a banjo. I'm lookin at this little number. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Rogue-B30-Banjo?sku=519217 Anyone have any experience with this one? The reason I'm goin with this one over the epiphone mb-100 is that...

Re: Willie Nelson covers Gravedigger?
Wwow. I think its really unfortunate that such a talented musician like willie nelson would cover a song on an album, and, atleast in my opinion, butcher it.
