I'm trying to find information on the differences between 250, 500k and 1meg. I have to replace my volume control pot since one of the prongs broke and the volume nob will not stay on. I don't think the sunken top will ever be completely correct again. But more humidity will help. To donate humidity, go to Radio Shack and get a hygrometer. They're only $20 and are pretty accurate. If you can't get the RH higher, use a couple more humidifiers. I read on Taylor Forum of a guy that used two Dampits, a Keyser and a soap box to keep his guitar correctly humidified.
