yerah saw that later, I was wrong,. :p Anyway, after playing the D'A's for a while now my conclusion: I find them to have a fuller rounder sound compared to the Elixirs most notably in a more defined sound for the single lower string hits. BUT they SQEEK SO LOUD!! It's annoying!! I slide very very m...

D'addario=terrible. The EXP coating whatever is useless. They squeak more than the GHS's I used when I was (really) poor, and they turn your fingers green by the third day of use. I love Elixir custom lights too, they are thickness .11-.52, when regular lights are .12-.53. customs lights are .11, l...

I bought my first D'Addario EXP strings
I went to Guitar Center for the first time in my life [none in Europe] and wanted my elixir custom light, but they didnt carry those. [WTF?] But they did have .011 D'Addario custom lights, so I'll put those on tomorrow. Anyone here use them? Enjoy?

Hard time fitting # chords in anywhere. Help?
When I have a progression with 'normal' chords [but in abnormal fingering] I am finding it hard to like fit in a C#m or F#, etc. Strange question, but where do these fit nicely and is there a theory about their place in progressions?

Hey peeps! Wanna check out an original song by me and a frie
After sharing my humble little #41 and #40 clips, I thought maybe you wanted to hear a quick recording me and a friend did of a song we wrote [music by me, words + singing by friend of mine]. Once again it's done in my room with the help of my laptop, a tiny pc mic [so some levels are off], and Bria...

thanks for the feedback guys! I did do two layers of vocals, no chorus, it's a bit much perhaps indeed, because both layers have the same volume as mentioned. I did tune down half a step, coz I simply can't sing in normal tuning, like I said I'm not much of a singer and my voice is too low for norma...
