Re: new song "Came Undone", please critique! :)

Hey mate, great song, very emotional. I like how you build up tension with the volume of your voice and the strumming. Undoubtedly, you've got a great voice. You manage pretty well on those higher notes :) Two points for consideration: I'd prefer a bit more structure in the lyrics, but I reckon you ...

Full band original (FruityLoops!)

Hey everybody For my latest recording, I wanted to have a full band song, but since I'm more of a one-man band at the moment, I used Fruity Loops to replace my band buddies! With the aid of FL, I put together a real drum set to generate the drums track and used the boo bass plugin to generate the ba...

Re: Flying Red Horse (John Gorka)

First off, you've got a great voice mate, I like it a lot!

Two points, a bit too much reverb on the vocal track (but that's a matter of taste) and second, try to run some noise reduction on your song with Audition, Cubase or whatever you use.

New Original: Highway of Your Soul

Hi everybody It's been a while, if not to say years, since I haven't been on these boards. Good to see that things are kept up. Seems like a new generation has taken over. For those who don't know me I'm the Swiss bloke ;) Anyway, I've just finished recording one of my originals. Have a listen at ht...

gets really cool towards the end, though I would have structured it a bit differently. Put in some rising action, a climax and some measures to fade out after that

a very sweet cover, well done overall. btw, I saw a film about Hitler the other day. there were many Nazis, though I'm not sure whether there was a recording nazi. ah, maybe there was one; the bloke who wrote a record for every Jew, upon which they later decided whether he must die immediately or af...

very nice sounding cover indeed.

the only criticism I have is that the timing of the guitar and the rhythm in the background is not always spot-on.

keep on mate

Nothing Else Matters FULL

Hi folks, It took me two days to record this, so there's pretty much work in it. btw, by "FULL", I didn't mean full band, but rather full acoustic; there are three guitar and three vocal tracks. Tell me what you think about it download: http://www.bosmusikwelt.ch.vu any comment would be appreciated....

I wasn't sure about the vocals man. First of all there was way too much reverb added to it. Then I think you should try a song which doesn't go up into higher registers. Stay or Leave sung by Dave goes up pretty high. When you don't do that and stay on the same pitch, it somehow doesn't seem to work...

Hey mate

That was a great tune I thought. the electric blends in well with the rest. As for the acoustic, wouldn't you want to heighten the bass a bit? I think it was suggested before.

That was lovely mate

You really should layer some vocals over it for the sake of completion
