I'd buy the CD of this in a hearbeat. Both were right on the money that night. Maybe it will shut up both sides that say Mayer sucks and country singers have no talent. I admit, the older I get, the more I like country. Not sure why. All I listen to lately is folky/country music. And lots of DMB, of...

Welcome to the *.15 family. They are fantastic, underrated guitars. Mine sounds better every time I play it.

Just be careful, they ding *really* easily. Which will make you very angry.

I bought the pink acoustic for my daughter. Surprisingly, not a bad little guitar. Sounds good and is put together well.

I know they are nice sounding guitars, but everytime I see one, I am reminded of all the modern bands who play them, and I want to puke.

I currently have EJ16's on my D-15, and I like them enough to recommend them. I may end up sticking with them from now on.

Sigh. The D-15 is not a 'cheap' guitar. Just because it's less expensive than the higher ends (let's face it - even the lowest end martins are not really 'cheap') does not lessen the quality. I think my D-15 sounds better than any alvarez I've heard, not matter what the price. To each his own, but I...

I have and RD20SB. Well, Alvarez has it now, since the neck came unglued.

For a cheap guitar, it's pretty nice. Smells like glue though.

I use it as my 'kick-around' guitar - keep it on a stand, play it outside....it does the job. I am not sure I'd spend much more than that on an Alvarez...

I had one for a bit. For the price, it is a nice guitar. Looks nice, gold grover tuners. I actually took it back because it had cosmetic issues (yeah, I am anal) and got an alvarez instead. To be honest, I wish I'd kept the AW100 over the alvarez. Since the the neck on the alavarez well....fell off....

I don't like how the tortex ones sound. Way to brittle compared to other picks, at least on my guitar.

I switched to the dunlop nylons. They don't wear out quickly, and have a sort of built-in grip.

I love my DM3MD, but due to the sky-high price tag it runs for now, I only end up playing it about once a month. Otherwise it's in its hardshell with its own humidifier for safe keeping. Not me, I'd be playing the hell out of it. That is sort of like putting covers on your car seats to keep it nice...

I have the RD20SB or something. For the price, you couldn't beat it. I tried many guitars in the 500 and under range, and that little 250 dollar gem beat them all, so I bought it. Then the neck fell off. The local shop sent it away to alvarez, I am still awaiting to hear something. They were sure I'...

I have a 250 alvarez, and until the neck fell off, it was one of the nicest-playing guitars I've ever owned or played. It just *felt* right. Sound wasn't bad, but it's no Martin.
