I hold mine more like the second one, but it varies a lot. However, I'm not sure if I'm wierd, but I rest my 3rd, and 4th finger on the pick protector area when I am single picking. Am I the only one that does this?

So they are revoicing the 500 series and up taylors? That is NOT good!! I play a taylor now, but I don't like brassy sound of Martins. This saddens me.
