You know what's really sad? When a fan (yours truly) buys an album and can't even rip it to his hard drive in MP3 format. The album in question? Some Devil. The version they sell here (Lebanon) and supposedly in Europe also, has extremely tough copy protection built in (Cactus Data Shield 200) What ...

Anyone who's listened to The Lillywhite Sessions can agree that it's OK to download pre-release material (if you buy the actual album)...especially when some of the tracks are better than the versions that are actually released!
Try Big Eyed Fish (LWS version) for a great example!

Request: Time of Your Life

Anyone willing to kick up an instrumental to Green Day's "Time Of Your Life" so I can give the vocals a shot?
It's an easy song but I can't QUITE get the hang of it since I'm still a beginner

I'm not saying I don't like it cause I do and it's a great song, but isn't Crash a song from the point of view of a stalker. Not a bad stalker, but the girl has a boyfriend of some sort, and the narrator of the song is essentially stalking. Just my take. Someone wanted Clapton songs and no one ment...

FUCKING awesome! Man, seriously, no suggestions for improvement, except maybe look for a better ending to an otherwise superb performance! Oh, and I don't think you should add lyrics, it sounds like a track which is simply beautiful as an instrumental, just let the guitar do the talking! Speaking of...

Yea, it's a pretty good program. If anyone needs Dave Matthews powertabs I've got a few saved on my PC. Another recommended program is Guitar Pro, not freeware, but then again you could just crack it :o

Hey, welcome to the boards! I'm a beginner guitarist myself, been learning for the past month or so. You said you've got most of the major and minor chords down, but thats quite simple really. Man, the tough part when you're learning are the GODDAMN progressions! Try moving QUICKLY from, say, Amaj t...

you can always submit one w/o vocals. if your guitar work is good enough, you'll get voted. but you'll need good lead guitar work to fill in for the missing vocals. there are also people here that would gladly do the vocals for your guitar work if you asked around. i know i would if i were going to...
