I think he knows some....but if you think about the music he plays, he basically has been able to use the same kind of progressions and such and switch it up to make different songs. A lot of songs have the same fingerings in parts. Grey Street, Too Much, LIOG jam, Tripping Billies, Granny are close...

I have that Alvarez 12er. I like it a lot. It's got a bright sound with the maple, and because it's jumbo, has a nice full bass. Together, it's a great combo.
