You have to be a little scientific about it too. Think about what the effect is actually doing to the signal. Something like distortion changes the amplitude of the signal. So does the volume. If you change the amplitude of the signal with the volume pedal before it goes into the distortion pedal, y...

Well, it's just basically a sponge in there. Just holding it you should be able to feel how heavy it is. If it's dry, it'll obviously be lighter than if there is water in there. You know there is too much water in the humidifier if it's leaking out of the holes. I think as long as you put a syringe ...

I'm not sure, because I don't know what the humidity is like there. The best way to figure that out is to buy a hygrometer that measures the humidity. I can't think of the figure right now, but there is a humidity range that you should try to keep it in. I'm sure it's on the boards here somewhere, o...

I think he knows some....but if you think about the music he plays, he basically has been able to use the same kind of progressions and such and switch it up to make different songs. A lot of songs have the same fingerings in parts. Grey Street, Too Much, LIOG jam, Tripping Billies, Granny are close...

I would also read the disclaimer of that auction. If you scroll down, it says that unless the case is pictured, it may not be included in the auction. I see that it says it's included up above that, but that would be a bummer to get hosed by a badly written auction listing.

The only reason I said $500 is because it's in good shape and the case I bought was well over $100. If they are new at $440, case for $120, then that's $560. It does not have electronics, but this thing is in good shape. I really don't need to sell it, so I won't be "taken to the cleaners". That Eba...

Wow....he's got a pretty good deal out there.

I paid more, but still. That's a ridiculous steal.

If you don't go that road, let me know. I don't have to get rid of it today.

I don't mind you asking at all. I think $500 w/case is a good deal. I looked that case up itself and it was going for ~$150 on the site I found. It is a great guitar in perfect shape. I have no problems with people discussing and getting a second opinion. Although, I STRONGLY encourage you to get my...

I have that Alvarez 12er. I like it a lot. It's got a bright sound with the maple, and because it's jumbo, has a nice full bass. Together, it's a great combo.

I'm trying to consolidate my guitars and I was thinking of selling it. If you're interested, let me know.

DigiDesign MBox. It comes with the industry standard ProTools LE (just came out with version 6.7). It has all the effect built in and you can edit, mix, bounce to different format, etc. It has two inputs with top notch preamps so you can play and sing and record both simulaneously. It also comes wit...

No tab really gives rhythm or timing......it is merely a tool to know WHAT to play, not necessarily how. You pretty much have to hear the song to get the whole picture. Find a solo performance (10/21/02 I think) or a D&T version. You can pick it out of the mix better and try to get a hold of the str...

Forcing music only seems to bring out pop tunes like Cabrerra, boy bands, and pop queens. I think that if you try and force it, you will come up with the cheesiest BS that is so predicatable that it's garbage. Songs seem to come from living life......writing about something that you feel or have exp...
