Its whatever you like. I personally like the Taylor over the Martin for various reasons. But you can't beat a Martin.

Polys and Nano's pretty much sound alike. I can not play anything other than Elixir. When i bought my Martin I had to take the strings off within the first 5 minutes and put on some polys. Feels better. Poly's also help eliminate finger squeak.

Yes they are I had one permanatly installed in my Big Baby(back up guitar for gigs) THis pickup is AWESOME for soundhole.

assuming you're referring to the 000XEBlack, and not the 000XCEBlack (which i don't think exists), it's not painted black. it's a graphite guitar. not wood. which can be good or bad. good if you do loads of gigs where you can't afford to worry about travelling with your guitar on planes, bright sun...

Martin 000XCEBlack

Went to my Guitar Center and went straight to the Taylors. (As I usually do.) Checked them out. Loved a 514ce. Too pricey tho. Don't really look at anything else than Taylor usually but I decided to take a look at Martin. Instantly fell in love wit the 000XCEBlack. IT's black and comes with Fishman ...
