I have listened to the different versions many times and I actually believe in acoustic versions (more or less) he gets the palm mutes going......try and palm mute the low E and A strings, while occassionally hitting the G string on the upstroke......but let it ring more or less.....I hope that help...

Can anyone tell me what the hell those squiggly lines are supposed to mean......they are after the 8th fret, low E string in the Tripping Billies tab verse????
