Piano Question

I’m contemplating the idea of learning the piano. 5 years ago I bought a guitar and I taught myself how to play. I’m kind of apprehensive on buying a 250.00 keyboard because it seems pretty complicated to learn, and I don’t know if I have the patience anymore to learn something new. So my questions ...

One Sweet World intro is also played with a pick. I originally fingerpicked the intro. It took me forever to learn how to play it with a pick.
