I did buy it. It's not that bad. The factory strings just suck. I slapped some elixirs on it and it purred nicely.

On a side note, I have also purchased the Rogue 6-string bass. Seen here. Lovin it. Well-made bass. Sounds like a dream.

Whoa.

Double-neck tenor ukulele - 4 string on top and 8 string on bottom. Koa all around. Ovation style top, non-bowl (square) back. Commence drooling.

Yeah thats my problem...no stores really carry alot of different kinds brands. How much did you pay for the Fender A styles? Im still weary about places online to buy any type of musical instrument. (I have got to play it and over look it a few times to make a choice.) I'm gonna have to make you bu...

Double bassist here. Played for the past three or so years (two orchestras and one string quintet), almost started teaching and one point. I have a student-level bass with a laminated top that is (strangely) sometimes confused with, say, a German-made instrument somewhere around 1875. :D It'...

What is the standard tuning for a Soprano? I play a variation of a Low 'A' concert Uke so my tunging is completely different. If i know your tuning i could probably give you a tab for Billies & Stay GCEA, low to high. Also known as "My Dog Has Fleas" tuning. Good discussion here: [url]http://www.uk...

I've considered buying one of these cheapie dreadnoughts just so I can string it up in raised B, open Dmaj, or something like that. If the durn thing isn't going to last a year, then I'd sure get the use out of it I needed. No truss rod mentioned, and the neck is nato - that could be a big problem. ...

It's based on Amaj and Emaj, that for sure. It's the chord in the middle that I'm not sure of. ^ Sounds familiar. Great song.

I mess around with DADADD all the time. I find myself coming up with Irish/Celtic/Folk melodies. But I'm a nerd like that.

Jeez, there's only two of us?

I've been playing upright for about a year now, and you're right, it does add a certain richness to a lot of songs. Dave in particular, I think. Me and a friend jam on guitars Dave and Tim style, but after a while I have to pull out the upright and see how much better the jam can get. Electric does ...
