I haven't checked it out myself yet, but I did see a podcast of Dave speak on iTunes when I ran a quick search. So that may allow you to get some additional Dave speak if you need more. I have no idea how you would cite that source however.

Awesome article on The Onion

http://www.theonion.com/news/index.php?issue=4134&n=2 This sounds like everyone who was a fan by 1998 - 1999. And while I feel the same way, I still think this is hilarious. Although they should have used Everyday instead of Before These Crowded Streets in the article. I personally love that album, ...

Quick question...has Dave been playing Louisiana Bayou on the baritone this whole tour? I was not a big fan of the song prior to this evening, but he had the baritone in overdrive tonight and it sounded pretty good. EDIT: Nevermind, I checked dmbalmanac and yes he has been playing it on the baritone...

I hadn't seen the band live since 2003 at Darien Lake in NY. The energy at this show was great and I got to hear some stuff I had not heard before. The only song I didn't like in this set was Smooth Rider, but everything else was really good. Bartender was incredible and had a looooong outro jam. On...

Yes, bluegrass is awesome. We just got back from the Greyfox Bluegrass Festival and it was great. filmdude: we could mic each instrument separately, but that would probably end up being more expensive than what we want to do. 1 mic is definitely not too crowded. I've seen several bands play this way...

Stage Setup

OK, so my buddy bought a banjo back in January and we have formed a bluegrass band along with one of the guys at our office who plays Mandolin. We are going to be performing at the company Christmas party. We played in small settings where we didn't need any equipment other than our instruments but ...

I bought this model guitar last year and love it. Although I wish I would have saved up for the 700 series model. And if you aren't going to use the electronics then get on without them. It'll save you around $100. But it is a great guitar. It has the bright tone that Taylor is know for and it is fa...

Actually, after Dave revamped Bartender after Storytellers I like to pay it the other way around. Bartender into Don't Drink The Water. It's a pretty easy transition if you play the outro to Bartender in a power chord manner instead of what's posted on the site. e------------------------ B----------...

i don't think you really need to worry about strumming open strings...you need to worry about muting them. maybe that is what you meant though. at least when i play it i don't worry about what strings i am hitting (usually all of them for a percussive sound) but i concentrate more on laying my 2nd a...

I just think it's funny that she isn't the one writing her own songs. Whoever said she writes a couple lines per album is pretty close. I think she did two songs on her own off her last album......not including the music. Meaning she came up with the same meaningless pop lyrics that everyone else us...

"Pop music is the hardest stuff to write....."

I was reading an article about Maurice Clarett entering the NFL a year early and came across thie section with a quote fom Brittany Spears. When did a young collegian jumping to the NFL suddenly become akin to walking the surface of Mercury in a Speedo? Is Britney Spears physically and mentally read...
