I usually just do an open D chord for that part. It makes it easier. I would just play that first on elike a regular B barre chord, though, instead of playing it using all four fingers. I think it would be easier that way.

When something has a second and a fourth in it, I always thought it would be an add9sus4 or something like that. But I don't really know much about music theory. I really wish I did, though. I'm gonna take a class on it as soon as I can.
