What's the best way???????

What's the best way to get tickets to a DMB show this summer? without warehouse i mean. internet? phone? i always do internet, but i wanna know...is there something better??? thanks guys.

What I've done is go to ebay. Yeah, it's overpriced, but it's easier to get good seats that way. I've tried to hop online the second the tickets go on sale to the public, and I've gotten OK seats that way. Last summer I paid around $150 to get GREAT Gorge seats. That's not too much of a markup for me. But then again, I would honestly pay about $100 a ticket to see those guys (especially at the Gorge). Maybe that's not the best way, but that's how I've been doing it. I hear that some people just go to the show ticketless and buy ticks near the entrance from a "some dude" type guy.

do it all. phone and internet. and get multiple people to do it too. put ticket master on speed dial, and have everyone who's going in your party call until one of you gets through. march 27th is going to be an exciting day. 8)

this is true... definitely don't go wait in line at your nearest ticketmaster. I did that one year and got two tix that were terrible seats, then I went home and ordered 4 seats on the net that were much better.

ebay you can normally get very good seats, if you're willng to pay.
otherwise scalpers are always a good last resort. if you have about the same amount of money as you would have spent on ebay you could proboly get them off of a scalper.

If I don't get any from the Warehouse or Ticketmaster...I'll normally keep my ears open on the different message boards to see who has exrtas or hit the parking lot before a show. I've never really had a problem getting into a show. I will never buy tickets off eBay.

scalpers like 10 min after the show has started... i got tix to see dave this summer 3rd row for 30 bucks a seat because the guy wasnt gonna make any $ if he couldnt sell them. i have done that a bunch of times and it usually works tix are cheap after the show starts so if u dont mind missing a bit this is the best way to go (minus the illegality factor)
