The Song that Jane Likes Bass Tab

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

All it takes is a lot of dedication... you want a good test grade on a test, you study... Its sorta like that only ten times fun, studying charts is fun, but you gotta know what each note sounds like, its not the eyes that learn, its the ears. Once you know almos every note by ear, tabbing is pretty damn easy. Then if you know the note, you know the scales... so from there you make your own fills and styles to the DMB songs or whatever, and then you start makin your own! Thats what I did, and still everyday I play bass for atleast an hour a day...

i wish i had the time...can't wait till christmas break. being able to recognize notes by ear is my new goal, it kinda was before, but it seemed so remote. thanks for rekindling my motivation tender. :)

it also helps being able to play the guitar, for me at least. I can translate chords and stuff from the guitar onto the bass.
