Let You Down Bass Tab

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

Unread post by Bartender2424 » Sun Sep 21, 2003 5:37 am

This song was a jiffy, it followed every bass note on the guitar. So here ya go for you fans of Let You Down.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed From:
Crash

Verse:
If you want, which I heavily suggest, try to throw in an octave or something like that
G:--------------------------
D:--------------------------
A:--7---5-------------------
E:-----------5---7---7------

"I have no lid upon my head..."
G:-------------------------
D:------------------------
A:--7-7-5-5---------------
E:------------5-5-7-7-----

"You could look inside and see whats on my mind..."
G:-------------------------
D:-------------------------
A:--7---2--3--------------
E:-------------5---7---7--

Thats 'bout it not much more to it. Try to improvise a bit, a few slides, hammers, so on. Have fun. Well that finishes up Crash, the album.

Code: Select all

LET YOU DOWN
5-string BEADG

Source: Crash album version.

The key to this one is to keep it loose. Especially during Leroi's solos starting at 3:10, try to mix it up with the VERSE and ALT. VERSE riffs.

Hell yes. Thanks to both of you. :D
