Anyone Seen the Bridge Bass Tab(Way I play it)

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

I was listening to ASTB from 7-10-03 , and it is played on a 5 or 6 string, pretty much like your tab except a string lower.

Code: Select all

G:-----------------------
D:-----------------------
A:-----------------------
E:--5------3-------------
B:------4------5--4--3---

The outro to Pig (BTCS) is essentially ASTB...right! I tabbed that out on guitar and it follows the bassline! Check it out:

I don't play bass, but it sounds as if it would work pretty darn well!

The Pig outro has like three different parts, only one of which is ASTB.

I've never been 100% sure on that second note, but it has always sounded a little more "dissonant"-- the E flat (4 on the B string) sounds right to me, the E (5th fret B) sounds like it *would be* the *correct* note to play in such a progression, but I don't think it is. . . I'll check the DVD when I get a chance.
