hi, ive been watching this board for like a year.. and 7 months ago i decided to start learning guitar. im a dmb fan so lets say i play his music a lot aheahoeuah. :D... so i recorded this a couple days ago... tell me what you guys think...

there are a lot of mistakes of course im working to clean it : )

i used mbox mini, a samson condenser mic and garageband.
some old cheap fender model,
dunlop .63 pick
and ddario exp .12

btw, im from brasil, riodjaneiro : ) ola!

im gonna post some other songs this month (pnp>greyst - ants - liog - crash - 41).. then next month im gonna post the same songs.. hope ill see some difference on them : )

im lucky enough that my teacher learned john mayer's neon in like 30 min and the stone in 15 min, so he helps me alot with some dave stuff... like the tbillies verse...
i learned in like 1 hour.. ts pretty easy once someone explain to you... belive me.. and im not a good guitar player.... im more confident in making the tbillies verse than the "if you can keep me floating" part from jimi thing

if you try to learn from your own it will be much more difficult. not impossible... but much more difficult. and you end up like some youtube tbillies covers... that are pretty bad =/

i used the tab on your site, thanks for the creators of this site and the community... the tabs are like 99% perfect... =D

that's really good for 7 months i think. I still can't play this song, maybe i should look at it again.

really good for 7 months indeed, but what are you playing during the verse? It sounds like a slide on the B string instead of the G to me

thanks all :D i didnt expeted that feedback =o

the nature intro.. dave strums it VERY fast and the pattern is slightly different from mine =/... especcialy at early recordings of the song.... good point

im working on warehouse maybe ill record it...

kraka varios brasileros aki ou portugueses ne ..
po ses nao tem nenhuma dica pra da nao? a qt tempo ses tocam? q musicas do davevcs tocam perfeitamente?
