Taylor GS Series
Taylor GS Series
I played one at a music shop yesterday and I admit it's the best sounding guitar I've ever played. (And I've played a lot.) Solid Rosewood and Spruce with fancy inlays and gold tuners for all of $1800. What are your guys' thoughts?

I dont think its an OM, i played one in the shop and it was much bigger. more like a dread with a narrow waist. reminded me of larrivee's L body. I always thought taylors 14 body shape was sort of OM ish, but a little thicker.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

It's a totaly new body style that taylor has made, GS stands for Grand Symphony. The new shape combined with the bracing gives it a lot more bass then Taylor guitars usually have. If I were to describe how it felt, it was almost like a small jumbo guitar. I'm thiniking this will get a lot people interested that never thought Taylors had enough bass, they all seemed to maintain that balance that Taylors have witht he added bass. Good guitars, preatty good price for what you are getting sound wise IMO too...Kahn wrote:Is this the first OM style Taylor?

everyones got their own opinions, the larrivee sound is different, more even toned with less bite, and i like it.i like tictacs wrote:every time i have played a larivee, it has fell far short of all the masturbating that they get on these boards. i am yet to be blown away.Kahn wrote:Larrivee > This
I also love the attention to detail that larrivee gives, not to mention their simple yet elegant look.
