Why DMB not coming To Tinley, IL ??

Unread post by Lbacker » Wed Mar 22, 2006 10:38 pm

What would make DMB not return to Tinley Park, IL? Is it because of managment or venue issues? They have been to Tinley every summer for the last nine years. Its a cookie cutter venue but its usually not a bad show.

It's a terrible place for a show. There's always speaker problems in the lawn. Plus I know Tweeter has a new name this year so maybe that had something to do with it. I don't know.

Where did you go to HS and how old are you?

Yeah, I'm originally from St. Charles and used to see shows there all the time, but after one time driving to Alpine I said never again, the sound there blllllloooooowwwsss.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Saw one show there, and it was awful. And driving through that traffic that time of day... *shudder* Tweeter is 90 miles from my house and it took us 5(!) hours to get there. We averaged 18mph the whole way. Ouch!
