Superfreak bass tab

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

Code: Select all

G---------------------------------------------------------
D---------------------------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------------
E---10----8--7--5----0--3----7--5---------------------

That sound more like it...but then again...I don't play bass!

Well the thing is...in the video his hands stays up around the 7, 8, 9, 10th fret the whole time, and it does sound a little different then the James version. And he doesn't shift once. So unless he's stretching from the 10th fret to the third...which is...big...i could be wrong.

I can hit 4th to 10th on my guitar, but basses have huge frets don't they. Does your video by chance show what Dave's playing?

He is probably on his 5-string . . . he always switches from the 4 to the 5 during Carter's drum into to ASTB, and he uses the 5 for Too Much.

One must remember-- just use a video to get you close. You still have to use your ears.
