Got the cd today, listening to it now. Its fantastic so far.
I love his use of words and voice with the simple melody, it makes for a perfect summer cd!

i was doing it, going well, figured out the tuning and everything, and i broke a string. made me mad. i can do it though, it's my style.

Im learning sitting, wishing, waiting right now but i have a hard time learing Jack Johnson songs (i know they are really easy) , but i can never get the mute down. Any tips on how to mute and how to practice it.

is this tab better than the tab off brokendownmelodies? ive noticed a few differences beyond location, including pat's tab has a E7 in the chorus and brokendownmelodies doesnt

i know im ressurecting an old thread, but i wanna learn the correct version of this song. i think the chorus has a E7, but i wanna be sure
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again
