My new Breedlove!!!! (Photos Included)

Unread post by cberner27 » Fri Jul 14, 2006 5:30 pm

Hey all, I finally got my new Breedlove AC25/SR Plus. After months of searching all different brands, I decided on this one. It's absolutely beautiful, and the woods smell so good. Haven't had much time to play it yet, but I'll let you know how it sounds when I do. Here are some pics I took right after opening the box. Let me know what you think....

That inlay looks nice but im not a real big fan of cutaways. Nice guitar though.

Eh, the inlay is a bit much for me. but i do like how the cut off looks, and all together looks like a nice guitar.

Very nice, congrats. I hadn't noticed that breedloves don't have bridgepins.
How does it sound?

The guitar looks very nice. The cutaway is a little different than the usual, and pretty cool too.

Congratulations!

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": Dr. Peter Venkman: I make it a rule never to get involved with possessed people. Actually it's more of a guideline than a rule.

Why remove the bridge pins?? What else are we going to use elephants and walruses for?? We could race them. Against midgets...

a little off topic, but does anybody else think that breedloves with cutaways look lopsided? like the side with the cutaway always looks smaller to me, even if you were to take away the cutaway in your mind... maybe its an illusion.

I think it's an illusion, cuz here's what it would look like sans-cutaway.

wrod.

i think its just they have a much larger upper bout than most, so when it has a cutaway, my mind doesnt expect it to go out as much as it would.
